About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Programme Specialist to join our team at Pace, a leading consultancy firm. As a Programme Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our clients in the scientific research sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and agree the approach, plan, and resources required to deliver the scope of work
  • Work closely with Programme Directors, Product teams, and external stakeholders to provide ongoing programme and project management support
  • Manage and review project proposals and necessary documentation
  • Interface with internal PMO teams and cross-collaborate with Pace core project and communications teams
  • Deliver effective and comprehensive RAID management and project reporting
  • Identify and manage any risks to the project
  • Plan, coordinate, and facilitate stakeholder workshops and events
Requirements
  • Strong programme and project delivery expertise with excellent knowledge of Project Management tools and techniques, such as Prince2, APM, Agile, Scrum, Waterfall (ideally certified)
  • Experience working in fast-paced and unstructured environments, either within the scientific field, R&D, life sciences, healthcare, energy, or within start-ups/scale-ups
  • Experience in early-phase projects, particularly in establishing processes and project governance, onboarding systems and tools
  • Demonstrated experience of influencing key stakeholders across the organisation
  • Excellent engagement skills (including interviewing, facilitating, mediating, and presenting) are essential
