About the Role

As a key member of the HR team at Sense Scotland, you will be responsible for driving staff health and wellbeing initiatives, leading and implementing strategy, and providing advice and guidance to HR Managers and recruitment teams.

This is a full-time, permanent role (37 hours per week) offering hybrid working. The role will be Scotland-wide, and you will be required to travel to Sense Scotland locations as needed to support HR operations and deliver staff health and wellbeing information/support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement staff health and wellbeing initiatives to promote a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Provide guidance and support to HR Managers and recruitment teams on HR-related matters.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement in staff health and wellbeing.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders to support HR operations.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor and report on key HR metrics and trends to inform business decisions.

Requirements:

  • Intermediate professional qualification in HR at Diploma Level and Associate/Chartered CIPD membership.
  • Ability to produce high-quality, accurate work to tight deadlines.
  • Care and passion for the health and wellbeing of others.
  • Understanding of employment law in practice.
  • Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing.
  • Proven track record of preparing and presenting high-quality reports.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours when required.
  • UK Driving Licence.
  • Desirable: Previous experience of using HR system ITrent and applicant tracking system Jobtrain or similar.
