We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team at Rosegarth, where you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with brain injuries to live independently and achieve their goals.
Job DescriptionThis is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to our service users, promoting their independence and enabling them to participate in a variety of activities and hobbies.
Our team works collaboratively to provide person-centered care, and we are committed to delivering exceptional outcomes for our service users. You will be part of a dynamic and supportive team that values creativity, innovation, and continuous learning.
Responsibilities:- To provide one-to-one support to service users, helping them to achieve their individual goals and aspirations.
- To assist service users with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household management.
- To facilitate and participate in a range of activities and hobbies, including arts and crafts, music, and sports.
- To work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure that our service users receive holistic support and care.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact on people's lives. To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Genuine empathy and understanding of the needs and challenges faced by individuals with brain injuries.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with service users and colleagues.
- A flexible and adaptable approach, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- A commitment to promoting independence and empowering service users to take control of their lives.
We offer a competitive salary of £12 per hour, plus £1 per hour extra on weekends and Bank Holidays. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
