We are currently looking to expand our team of dedicated support workers based in Tamworth.
We are looking for someone to join us on a permanent, part time basis (30 hours a week). Shifts will be spread across mornings, afternoons, evenings and sleep ins, weekends and bank holidays.

The individuals you will be supporting love to be out and about in the community taking part in hobbies they enjoy. The people we support enjoy a variety of things such as eating out, going to the cinema, shopping and attending discos –Who doesn’t love a boogie?
General shift patterns are 7am - 4pm, 4- 10pm.
What does a Support Worker do?
At our service in Tamworth you will be supporting a unique group of 8 people who have a learning disability and complex needs.
As a Support Worker you will be expected to provide an outstanding level of support that will enormously contribute to the people we support, living a more comfortable, dignified and happy life.
Personal care - helping people to get ready for the day and assisting with bathing, showering and using the bathroom.
Supporting people to live independently – budget management, paying bills, house work, organising appointments and cooking delicious healthy meals.
Excellent communication skills/relationship building – supporting the person to understand the world around them and promoting positive relationships.
Community & Social Inclusion- Supporting individuals to access and participate in their local community and Social events to promote life skills and individuality.We provide 24-hour support to a gentleman who has a learning disability and autism, in a supported living service to live independently in his own home.
