The Role

As a Enterprise Architect, your typical workload will be split between leading client-side engagements, discovery work, and providing recommendations to Axiologik clients. You will be hands-on within a team adopting core Architect principles and implementing good practice.

There is a requirement to be onsite in our central Leeds office 1 to 2 times a week. This can be discussed with your manager for full flexibility and can be restructured to best suit your needs, as well as the occasional travel to client site.

Essentials

• Support our team members to provide recommendations for removing bottlenecks and eliminating waste in the end-to-end value stream.

• Prepare and confidently present detailed reports and presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences, articulating complex concepts clearly and effectively.

• Have experience in driving change as an Enterprise Architect and technologist.

• Communicate simply and effectively at senior leadership level.

• Influence policy & strategy, setting or shaping overall programme or function strategy / direction within domain.

• Detailed understanding across the lifecycle of architectural practice.

• Have experience delivering business value in multiple organisations and sectors.

• Build great relationships with strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

• Capable of leading an Axiologik engagement or able to work autonomously and deliver to exceptional quality without supervision.

• Adapt your working patterns to fit client needs, including flexibility on location.

• Experience of leading an architecture function.

• Experience of running an architecture team in a "service delivery" context (i.e. operating a consulting team).

• Managing the architecture of a large cloud platform for multiple internal customers (ideally AWS).

• Familiarity of operating at EA level in a highly technical environment, including the following technologies and techniques: Java, JavaScript, AWS, Kubernetes, multiple CI/CD tools, integration techniques, patterns.

• Working in an environment to continuously improve flow (e.g. understanding of Team Topologies).

• Due to upcoming client requirements, experience in AWS would be most beneficial.
