About the Job

This vacancy is for a Band 6 Community Midwife, working part-time (5 hours/week) on a permanent contract. As a Community Midwife, you will work with a small caseload of patients, providing routine antenatal and postnatal care. You will be based at Spalding Hospital, but may be required to work at other locations within the trust.

Job Description

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing routine antenatal and postnatal care to patients on your caseload
  • Undertaking home visits, conducting assessments, and making referrals as necessary
  • Working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination

You will be expected to maintain accurate records, communicate effectively with patients and colleagues, and participate in ongoing professional development.

Requirements
  • A registered midwife with active UK NMC registration
  • A valid UK driving license and daily access to a car
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is approximately £38,055 - £48,554 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits including pension scheme, annual leave, and opportunities for professional development.
