Job Title: Production Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Kitchen Assistant to join our team at WatchHouse. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and production of a variety of savoury products, including sandwiches, wraps, baguettes, and bagels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation and production of a variety of savoury products, including sandwiches, wraps, baguettes, and bagels.
  • Support the kitchen team in daily tasks such as chopping, slicing, cooking, and the daily preparation of fillings and sauces.
  • Packing and prepare finished goods for delivery.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area.
  • Help with inventory management and stock rotation.
  • Adhere to all hygiene rules and food handling best practices.
  • Production and kitchen porter.
  • Work a variety of shifts, including weekends, and be available to start at 5am each shift.
Requirements:
  • Positive attitude, respectful, and with a can-do attitude and strong will to learn.
  • To be self-motivated and take initiative within the role, problem-solving and troubleshooting where needed.
  • A thinker and a doer, able to organise yourself and effectively contribute positively to a growing business.
  • Following correct recipes and product specifications, ensuring consistency across all product lines.
  • Strong work ethic and flexibility.
  • Interpersonal skills, the ability to build and maintain relationships across the business.
  • Attention to detail, to ensure all product lines are consistent and to product specification.
  • Calm and efficient in a busy environment, ability to work well under pressure.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of £11.95 + service charge, with the service charge ranging from £1 to £1.50 extra per hour.
