About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Digital Payment Specialist to support the various payment activities of our team in a target-driven environment. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience of managing improvement projects and processing high-volume activity.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Ensuring Network Rail policies and procedures are being followed to mitigate fraud and maintain good financial control
  2. Working collaboratively with internal teams to ensure compliance to HMRC/tax regulations
  3. Acting as a second-line support contact for query management
  4. Building knowledge and understanding within the team of the processes undertaken and ensuring each one is documented and kept updated
  5. Challenging current processes to help reduce waste and supporting root cause analysis to help reduce errors and drive continuous improvement

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience of managing improvement projects and processing high-volume activity
  • Proven influencing, networking, and stakeholder management skills at senior management level
  • Occupational knowledge of subject areas, particularly the Construction Industry Tax scheme
  • ORACLE eBusiness Suite or Horizon experience
