Austin Fraser is currently recruiting for the position of Education Support Professional in the Preston area. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing classrooms and supervising pupils when teaching staff are absent.

About the Role

This role involves ensuring that pupils remain on task with pre-prepared exercises set by teachers. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, accurate spelling and grammar, and recent experience working in Secondary schools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage classrooms to maintain order and ensure pupils complete assigned tasks.">
  • Supervise pupils during lessons and provide guidance as needed.">
  • Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and behavior.">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• A high standard of communication skills and accuracy in spelling and grammar;

• Recent experience working in Secondary schools;

• Experience in Key Stage 3, 4, or 5;

• Commitment to professional development and a desire to learn;

• A passion for working with children; and

• Commitment to Safeguarding.
