Job Overview:
In the role of Lead Care Professional at our care home in Bradford, you will play a pivotal part in delivering exceptional, personalised care to residents. This involves establishing strong relationships with residents and their families, ensuring each person's needs are met.

About You:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Carer or similar role holder who is trained in medication administration. As a natural leader, you will supervise and support all care staff on your shift, promoting best practices and maintaining high care standards. Your excellent communication and organisational skills will enable you to build compassionate relationships with residents, staff, and visitors alike.

Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities include:
• Leadership: Supervise and support all care staff on your shift, ensuring adherence to best practices.
• Medication Administration: Administer medication to residents as required, adhering to strict guidelines and protocols.
• Resident Care: Assist residents with daily personal care, promote independence, and support nutrition.
• Engagement: Facilitate social and recreational activities to enhance residents' quality of life.
• Safety & Security: Maintain a secure environment for residents, staff, and visitors, identifying and reporting any safeguarding concerns immediately.
• Documentation: Complete all necessary paperwork and records promptly and accurately.
• Health Monitoring: Observe and record residents' physical and emotional well-being, reporting any changes to senior staff.
• Medical Support: Accompany residents to medical appointments as needed.

Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you must have:
• Previous experience as a Senior Carer or similar role in a care home setting
• Must be trained in medication administration
• Strong leadership skills and a commitment to quality care
• Ability to build compassionate relationships with residents and staff
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Level 3 in Health and Social Care
