About this Opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled Packaging Logistics Supervisor to join our team at DS Smith Packaging in Burscough. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all safety, hygiene, and housekeeping standards are maintained in the warehouse and yard areas.
- Oversee the performance, attendance, and conduct of approximately 27 team members.
- Manage pallet stocks on behalf of the site.
- Collections and exchanges for general, metal, wood, reel core, and effluent waste will be managed effectively.
- A strong understanding of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is essential.
- Familiarity with SAP systems would be advantageous.
What We Offer:
