About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our National Estates Capital and Transactions team as a Senior Estates Assurance Advisor. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects, providing expert support in respect of assurance of estates business cases, capital and subsidiary transactions, and PFI.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert assurance support for estates business cases, capital and subsidiary transactions, and PFI.
  • Work closely with the National Estates Capital and Transactions Lead and other team members to deliver high-quality results.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including DHSC commercial team, regional estates colleagues, and other national keyholders.
  • Support the development of national guidance in respect of business case assurance, including leading on the review of estates elements of the business case checklist or other standard documentation.

Requirements
  • Qualified estates professional or experience of working in a senior project appraisal or transaction role.
  • Education to Masters level or equivalent level or equivalent experience of working at a senior level in a specialist area.
  • Expert knowledge of specialist NHS estates areas, acquired through postgraduate diploma or equivalent experience or training.
  • Subject matter expertise across a number of key areas relating to estates costing and appraisal.
  • Detailed knowledge of NHS Finance.
