Job Title: Building Services Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Services Engineer to join our team at Nuffield Health Sheffield FWC. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and providing excellent customer service to our members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and complete all monthly PPM jobs, ensuring that all equipment and systems are functioning correctly and efficiently.
  • Complete all Building Services daily/weekly checklists, identifying and addressing any issues or concerns in a timely manner.
  • Manage and complete all reactive calls, responding to member queries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Understand and comply with COSHH regulations and guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff and members.
  • Assist with the ownership and management of all Health and Safety Management System folders, ensuring that all documentation is up-to-date and compliant.
  • Carry out all Pool maintenance and complete regular pool/spa testing, ensuring that our facilities meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Receive and store all pool chemicals safely and correctly, maintaining a clean and organized working environment.
  • Maintain a positive and productive working relationship with all staff, providing excellent customer service and support.
  • Assist the Operations Manager in prioritizing health and safety management in the Building Services area, ensuring that all policies, risk assessments, and safe systems of work are in place.
  • Ensure that all checking and inspection processes are completed as required, and deviations are promptly actioned.
  • Proactively flag any health and safety concerns to the General Manager and Nuffield Health Operations Manager.
Requirements:
  • Be organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Have attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety.
  • Be a self-starter, able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and members.
  • Have a qualification in electrical or HVAC, or equivalent experience.
  • Hold an IOSHH qualification and be familiar with COSHH regulations and guidelines.
