About Our Client


A leading global medical products and technologies company is looking for a Site Operations Manager on a temporary basis for a minimum of 6 months. This role provides an excellent opportunity to work for a well-established company in the healthcare industry.



Job Description:

  • Maintain and improve the overall performance of the site's facilities, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, and other related systems.
  • IDentify and resolve facility-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Lead facility improvement projects, such as system upgrades, building renovations, and equipment installations, while ensuring timely completion within budget and compliance with regulations.
  • Ensure all facility operations adhere to company policies, safety regulations, and local codes by conducting regular inspections, risk assessments, and implementing emergency response systems.
  • Monitor energy consumption and implement energy-saving initiatives to reduce facility operating costs.
  • Collaborate with external contractors and service providers for specialized maintenance, repairs, or projects.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, repairs, equipment inspections, and service contracts, preparing regular reports on facility performance and any required improvements.
  • Support production and engineering teams by providing technical assistance for manufacturing equipment and systems.
  • Maintain an inventory of essential spare parts, tools, and equipment required for facility maintenance and repairs.


Key Requirements:

  • Experience in maintenance and installation of various services and facilities within a manufacturing/engineering environment.
  • Ability to supervise and take responsibility for external contractors and service providers.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills, with experience in developing effective solutions.
  • Strong communication skills, with ability to communicate complex technical information verbally and in writing.
  • Evidence of understanding and capability across mechanical, electrical, and control functions, as well as basic building maintenance.


What We Offer:

A competitive day rate of £281 per day.
