Electrical Inspector Job Description

At Prodrive, we're seeking an experienced Electrical Inspector to join our team in Banbury. As an Electrical Inspector, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a comprehensive quality system for the Electrical Workshop, ensuring all work is carried out to Prodrive standards.
  • Liaise with Engineers and Technicians to ensure quality and drawing conformance of all assemblies prior to dispatch to customers.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of electrical systems, identifying and addressing any defects or issues.
  • Develop and implement testing procedures to ensure the quality and reliability of electrical systems.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and R&D teams to implement testing procedures and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Design, manufacture, and maintain equipment required to test electrical systems.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar inspection role, with a strong understanding of electrical theory and electronic devices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work calmly under pressure.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and schematics.
  • Flexible approach to work and willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
