Electrical Inspector Job Description

At Prodrive, we're seeking an experienced Electrical Inspector to join our team in Banbury. As an Electrical Inspector, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our electrical loom manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a comprehensive quality system for the Electrical Workshop, ensuring all work is carried out to Prodrive standards.
  • Liaise with Engineers and Technicians to ensure quality and drawing conformance of all assemblies prior to dispatch to customers.
  • Perform initial build checks, including pin retention, lengths, and labels, and document inspection during loom builds.
  • Write Cirris test programs and conduct tests to ensure electrical assemblies meet Prodrive standards.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and R&D to implement testing procedures and design, manufacture, and maintain equipment required to test all electrical assemblies.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar inspection role, with excellent knowledge of electrical theory and operation of electronic devices.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and schematics, with a flexible approach to work and ability to work calmly under pressure.
  • Previous experience within motorsport is preferred but not essential.
