Electrical Inspector

At Prodrive, we're seeking an experienced Electrical Inspector to join our team in Banbury. As a key member of our electrical loom manufacturing team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality standards are met in our workshop.

• Maintain a comprehensive quality system for the electrical workshop, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and accurate.
• Liaise with engineers and technicians to ensure workshop build standards are met, and quality/drawing conformance of all assemblies is verified prior to dispatch to customers.
• Ensure all work is carried out to Prodrive standards, and externally sourced components are fit for purpose.
• Develop and implement test programs using Cirris testing equipment.
• Build and maintain test leads and equipment, ensuring they're in good working condition.
• Perform initial build checks, including pin retention, lengths, and labels.
• Conduct and document inspections during loom builds.
• Finalize inspections on all assemblies prior to dispatch.
• Install configurations into components.
• Collaborate with engineering and R&D teams to implement testing procedures.
• Design, manufacture, and maintain equipment required to test all electrical assemblies.

• Previous experience in a similar inspection role, with a strong understanding of electrical theory and electronic devices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work calmly under pressure.
• Familiarity with engineering drawings and schematics.
• Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities.
