Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Administrator to join our team in Doncaster. The successful candidate will support the development, implementation, and maintenance of compliant safety, health, and environmental management systems across all activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and administer the company's Health & Safety policies and procedures.
  • Work closely with responsible Managers and other key staff to establish and maintain key Health, Safety, and Environmental improvements.
  • Support in the implementation of Risk/CoSHH assessments ensuring suitable and sufficient safe working instructions are determined and communicated as appropriate.
  • Support the implementation of health, safety, and environmental training in respect of maintaining statutory levels of training and competence.
  • Promote good safety, health, and environmental practices by training and educating people and supporting managers and other key staff.
  • Responsible for the delivery of health, safety, and environmental training in-house and arrangement of external training.
  • Carry out site audits ensuring compliance with all associated legislation and management system requirements.
  • Participate and support in accident and incident investigations, ensuring the meeting of statutory reporting deadlines to HSE where applicable.
  • Attend Safety Committee meetings.
  • Support the Company's alcohol and drug screening programme.

Requirements

  • Ideal candidate has previous Safety, Health and Environment experience.
  • Strong communication skills as you will be maintaining and developing good relationships with internal departments and with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Must be able to work on own initiative providing accuracy at all times.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines for the team.
  • Competent MS applications (in particular Excel).
