Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Audit and Compliance: Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant legislation.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with our operations, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Training and Development: Collaborate with the HSE team to deliver training on health, safety, and environmental topics, promoting a culture of safety and compliance.
  • Contractor Management: Assist in the management of contractors, including pre-qualification, induction, monitoring, and review.
  • Environmental Initiatives: Communicate and facilitate environmental initiatives, ensuring proactive management of environmental risks.
  • Emergency Preparedness: Ensure the relevant operational area has the necessary resources and facilities for emergency situations.
  • Mentorship: Act as a mentor to site supervisory teams, providing guidance on health, safety, and environmental matters.
Requirements
  • Essential Qualifications: NEBOSH General Certificate, IOSH Managing Safely, ECITB Safety Passport, and strong communication skills.
  • Desirable Qualifications: Previous experience in a power generation and EfW environment, proficiency in Microsoft Office, Medium Risk Confined Space, and First Aid at work.
