Role Overview

Vision for Education - Southampton seeks a skilled Primary School SEN Tutor Specialist to provide academic support to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). As a member of our dedicated team, you will deliver tailored lessons, build strong relationships with students and families, and contribute to the school's mission to improve educational outcomes.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Design and deliver lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students with ASD.
  2. Maintain effective communication with students, families, and colleagues to ensure seamless coordination and collaboration.
  3. Engage in regular professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in Special Educational Needs.

Estimated Salary: £52,500 - £68,750 per annum

Essential Qualifications and Experience:
  • Holding Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience working with children with Special Educational Needs, preferably those with ASD.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs.
  • A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to teaching.
