Audit Manager

We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join our team and lead our PFI audit practice. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a complex portfolio of PFI audit clients, leading and reviewing your team's work to ensure high-quality audits within this niche sector.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a complex and interesting portfolio of PFI audit clients, leading and reviewing your team's work to ensure high-quality audits within this niche sector.
- Plan, coordinate, and manage audit engagements for PFI contracts, ensuring compliance with UK accounting standards, International Reporting Standards, and PFI-specific regulations.
- Mentor and develop your team members, ensuring a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Provide technical advice on PFI-specific accounting and regulatory requirements.
- Assess and review financial models and forecasts used in PFI projects, ensuring assumptions are reasonable and meet agreed terms.
- Participate in business development activities to expand our PFI client base.
- Proven experience as an Assistant Audit Manager or Audit Manager with expertise in PFI contracts, public-private partnerships, and complex financial models.
- ACA or ACCA qualified, with a strong understanding of UK GAAP and IFRS.
- Skilled at leading audit teams, mentoring junior staff, and providing technical guidance on PFI-specific issues.
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to analyse complex data accurately.
- Experience of working with a variety of IT systems, including Excel, MS Teams, CCH, and auditing systems.
- A competitive salary of £60-65,000 per annum (full-time).
- A hybrid working arrangement, with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
- A two-stage interview process, starting with a video call via MS Teams, followed by an in-person interview at our office.
