Tax Manager

TPF Recruitment is excited to partner with a leading accountancy practice to find a highly skilled Personal Tax Manager to join their team.
The successful candidate will work in a small but successful team providing a varied personal tax service to a range of individuals, directors, and high net worth individuals.
Key Responsibilities- Client Portfolio Management: The Personal Tax Manager will be responsible for overseeing all personal tax clients across their allocated portfolio, keeping the Partner regularly informed on any work in progress and escalating any issues.
- Tax Compliance: The candidate will be responsible for all day-to-day tax compliance affairs of the clients in their portfolio, ensuring professional standards are met.
- Technical Expertise: The Personal Tax Manager will identify and consult with colleagues and the Partner on complex technical and risk matters, exercising judgment within agreed parameters.
- Client Relationships: The candidate will develop professional relationships with clients and within the firm.
- Financial Management: The Personal Tax Manager will agree fees with clients for compliance and advisory work, ensure timely client billings and cash collection.
- Reporting and Compliance: The candidate will understand and adhere to cost budgets and meet reporting deadlines.
- Qualifications: ACCA, ACA, ATT, or CTA qualification.
- Experience: Previous experience within personal tax compliance with any planning experience a bonus.
- Practice Experience: Solid experience of working within an accountancy practice.
- Personal Tax Experience: Ideally 5 years experience of working within Personal Tax.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills.
- Competitive Salary: Dependent on experience and background, negotiable.
