Job Title: Tax Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Professional to join our team at Recruitpedia Nxt Gen Recruitment. As a Tax Professional, you will play a crucial role in delivering tax compliance services to our clients from a diverse range of sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of financial statements, including income and expenditure accounts
  • Completing tax returns for individuals and self-employed business owners
  • Assisting with accounts, tax, and administration services
  • Conducting research and staying up-to-date with tax laws and regulations
  • Communicating with clients and other external parties
  • Preparing and submitting tax returns, including land and property pages, foreign, residence, and remittance pages, and capital gains summary pages
  • Computing income tax, capital gains tax, national insurance, and CIS liabilities and advising clients accordingly
Requirements:
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with colleagues, clients, and external contacts
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to correspond with clients and HMRC
  • Highly numerate and able to manage a varied workload
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
  • Ability to work as part of a team to ensure deadlines are met
  • Experience of using Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • 1-3 years' relevant work experience
  • AAT, ATT, or ACCA qualified or working towards achieving a professional qualification
