The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and tax, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality services to clients. They will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of client service delivery, including preparation of year-end accounts, management accounts, bookkeeping, VAT, and CIS.

The successful candidate will be a strong communicator and team player, with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills. They will be able to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues alike, and will be able to motivate and develop junior members of staff.

The role will involve:

  • Overseeing and managing all aspects of client service delivery, including preparation of year-end accounts, management accounts, bookkeeping, VAT, and CIS.
  • Liaising with clients on accounts and tax issues as required.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Developing, retaining, and motivating junior members of staff.

The successful candidate will have:

  • ACCA/ACA qualified or equivalent with at least 2-3 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Experience of using cloud-based accounting software packages, such as Sage, Xero, QuickBooks.
  • Experience of TaxCalc, or a similar accountancy software desirable but not essential.
