Maintenance Manager

About the Role:
Bourton Hall LTD is seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our estate and facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily checks to ensure the good running of the building, estate, and equipment.
- Assist in maintaining public areas and setting up schedules of works to ensure our Grade 2 Listed Italianate Mansion remains in perfect condition.
- Work closely with our Projects & Maintenance Director on larger planned works.
- Support housekeeping, bar, and banqueting staff with setting up rooms and moving furniture.
- Ensure the safety of guests by placing and removing signage indicating wet floors or paint.
- Perform physical tasks such as carrying and moving large items.
- Develop good listening skills to gauge and anticipate the needs of guests and wedding requirements.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and guests.
- Carry out basic maintenance tasks, including replacing light bulbs, painting, and decorating.
- Conduct daily checks on gas and kerosene levels, drains, bio unit, and bins.
- Clean and maintain hot tubs.
Requirements:
- Reliable and professional with a hands-on attitude.
- General DIY knowledge and skills.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
