About the Role

This position offers an exciting opportunity to join Dräger's Estates and Facilities team as a Systems Maintenance Specialist. Reporting directly to the Head of Estates & FM UK & Ireland, you will be responsible for the effective management and maintenance of all mechanical building services, systems, and equipment across the UK and Ireland estate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commissioning and monitoring of plant and systems, including creation, management, and delivery of maintenance schedules.
  • Development, management, and maintenance of as-built drawings.
  • Selecting appropriate competent contractors to support the delivery of specialist services.
  • Supporting the Facilities Contracts Administrator in commissioning and monitoring third-party service and support contracts.
  • Collaborating with customers and colleagues on problem-solving processes to improve safety, reliability, productivity, and efficiency.
  • Producing detailed specifications and designs considering cost, safety, and time constraints.
  • Managing projects utilizing industry best practice principles and techniques.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum of level 4 qualification in mechanical engineering or a related engineering subject.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience working in facilities/building services within a manufacturing environment.
  • Management of mechanical building services.
  • Familiarity with HP (bar +) compressed air systems.
  • Ability to work independently and adhere to strict deadlines.
  • Knowledge of current regulations and standards relevant to mechanical building services and systems.
