Insurance Claims Specialist

About the Role:
We are working with an established broker, The Recruiter Ltd, to recruit an experienced Claims Account Handler to cover a varied range of insurance claims.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing their working day effectively and handling all aspects of claims management, from initial reporting to settlement. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, using your skills and experience to deliver high-quality results.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Be the first point of contact for clients in reporting cross-class claims.
- Negotiate with insurers to settle claims within authority limits.
- Maintain client records and update information on claims history.
- Assist clients in pursuing uninsured losses and receive notification, investigate, and settle claims.
- Provide regular reports to senior management regarding significant losses sustained by individual clients.
What We Offer:
This role offers a competitive salary, negotiable at around £30,000-£40,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also have opportunities for career progression and professional development within a reputable company.
