We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Purchase Ledger Supervisor to join our team at Sharp Consultancy. As a key member of our finance function, you will be responsible for leading a team of Accounts Payable Clerks and ensuring the timely and accurate processing of all supplier invoices.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and motivate a team of Accounts Payable Clerks, including workload management, target setting, one-to-ones, and appraisals.
- Point of escalation for all related supplier queries.
- Responsible for regular payments runs, including domestic and international payments.
- Daily bank reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, and GRNI review.
- Manage the month-end close of the ledgers.
- Previous experience in a similar role, with supervisory experience in an accounts payable environment.
- Experience working in a large organisation with multiple ledgers.
- Strong people management skills, with the ability to understand and motivate the team.
- A competitive salary of £35,000.
- 25 days annual leave plus statutory holidays.
- Contributory pension scheme matched up to 8%.
