Job Description
We are recruiting for a skilled Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement individualised care plans for patients with complex mental health needs.
  2. Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to deliver effective treatment strategies.
  3. Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families.
  4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  5. Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements
  • Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council as a Registered Mental Health Nurse.
  • PMVA Certified
  • Strong knowledge of patient care principles and practices, particularly in mental health settings.
  • Understanding of anatomy and physiology relevant to mental health conditions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with patients.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team while also demonstrating initiative in patient care.
  • Compassionate approach with strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy towards patients' experiences.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts as required by the service needs.

Benefits
