Fugro, a market-leading company, is seeking a talented Proposal Manager to join our Marine Infrastructure Solutions team in Falmouth, Cornwall.

About the Role

As a Proposal Manager, you will play a pivotal role in attracting new clients, engaging with existing clients, and supporting the business in securing projects for profitable growth. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing proposal handover packages to facilitate meetings with the project delivery team
  • Engaging with a network of known and new clients throughout the proposal process
  • Acting as a point of contact for Marine Infrastructure Proposals within and outside the Fugro group
  • Leading the proposal process, including technical, commercial, and contractual aspects
  • Commercial and technical negotiation with clients to secure contracts
  • Attending and conducting client meetings
  • Collaborating with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure best value and technical solutions
  • Producing cashflow forecasts as part of the commercial evaluation
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Project
  • A degree or HND qualification in a relevant field, such as Marine/Renewable or Civil Engineering
  • Experience working with international teams and an understanding of various forms of condition of contract
  • Astute commercial awareness and a strong business acumen
