Job Summary

Fusion People Ltd is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join their team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for performing break fix and maintenance on EPOS systems and tills in retail stores across North Wales.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Perform troubleshooting and repair of EPOS systems and tills, including hardware and software issues.
  2. Install, move, add, change, and remove hardware and software products and components as directed.
  3. Receive and update dispatch function on all unforeseen issues, and provide detailed debriefing on all performed activities.
  4. Participate in regular hardware and software trainings, and receive certification after passing relevant tests.
Requirements
  1. Proven track record of more than 1 year as a Service Technician.
  2. Successfully completed education in IT- or mechatronic/electronic-related profession.
  3. PC literacy and good knowledge and application of relevant tools and methods.
  4. Product knowledge of relevant industry and basic ITIL skills preferred.
  5. Ability to lift and move heavy loads, stand most of the day, climb, bend, and stoop while working on equipment.
  6. Acceptance of exposure to the outside elements.
  7. Shift adaptability, which would include an on-call rotation for evenings and weekends.
  8. Exceptional customer service skills are needed.
  9. Ability to organize and inventory truck stock parts and tools.
  10. Sense of urgency, organizational skills, professional presence, and ability to work in a team environment.
  11. Firstline or Service Technician work experience preferred.
