Job Title: Junior People Business Partner
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Junior People Business Partner to join our People Performance team. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our Retail teams, specifically with Regional/Area Managers, to support the delivery of our people plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with stakeholders to drive business outcomes.
- Hold regular reviews with stakeholders to review their people, covering all elements of the colleague experience.
- Work with other teams within the People function, including Recruitment and Learning & Development, to deliver business objectives.
- Complete talent reviews with stakeholders, agreeing actions and proactively monitoring progress.
- Support succession planning for key roles and upskilling of managers.
- Maintain a focus on colleague engagement and support new store openings and closure processes.
- Manage employee relations cases and provide support to stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar generalist HR/People role.
- Proven experience of managing employee relations cases, including complex cases.
- Experience of working within a highly customer-centric or retail environment.
- Ability to work with data and solve problems.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to make impact and build effective relationships.
- Ability to collaborate, persuade and influence.
- Assertive, resilient and tenacious with ability to work well under pressure and overcome setbacks and changing priorities.
