Human Resources Generalist

Our client is a leading manufacturer with a strong presence in the industrial sector. They value innovation and strive for excellence in all aspects of their operations, employing approximately 125 staff members in the Pudsey area.

This role involves supporting the HR Manager in various key areas, including policy implementation, recruitment, employee relations, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.

• Implementing HR policies and procedures under the guidance of the HR Manager.
• Coordinating recruitment, onboarding, and employee exit processes.
• Managing employee relations, encompassing sickness, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
• Providing coaching and guidance to Line Managers on employee relations matters.
• Contributing to the development and implementation of HR initiatives.
• Maintaining accurate employee records and HR documentation.
• Organizing and coordinating training and development programs.
• Assisting with the performance review process.
• Ensuring the effective organization and updating of training matrices.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws and industry regulations.

We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor who brings:

• Relevant experience in HR Assistant or HR Advisor roles, looking to advance or develop their skills further.
• In-depth knowledge of HR policies, practices, and employment law.
• Proven experience in generalist HR roles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
• A CIPD qualification or a desire to pursue further studies.
• Ambition and a genuine interest in progressing their HR career in the long term.

• A competitive salary package up to £33,000.
