Job Summary:

We are seeking an organized and dedicated Medical Secretary to provide high-quality secretarial and administrative support within our specialty department. This role is essential for ensuring smooth patient pathways and supporting our clinical teams in meeting critical Trust targets.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Comprehensive Administrative Support: Provide efficient and thorough medical secretarial services, handling all allocated tasks to meet departmental needs.
  • Team Collaboration: Work flexibly across specialty teams, supporting consultants and nurse specialists, and adapting to evolving service demands.
  • Professional Development: Engage in ongoing training as needed to stay up-to-date with new developments within the service.

About the Role:

This Medical Secretary position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient care and support our medical teams with dedicated administrative expertise. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless patient pathways and achieving Trust targets.

What You'll Need:

  • Educated to GCSE level standard English Language at Grade A-C (or equivalent)
  • RSA II typing or equivalent experience
  • Audit typing qualification or recent relevant experience
