Project Manager Opportunity

Copello is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team in Poole. This is a circa 12-month contract opportunity that will provide the successful candidate with a challenging and rewarding experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Business Development team in planning phases for new opportunities
  • Develop and manage project plans, risk identification and mitigation strategies
  • Manage contracts, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations, deadlines, and budgeted costs
  • Deliver payment milestones within specified tolerances of time, cost, quality, scope, risk, and benefits
  • Conduct regular formal documented reviews of contracts, reporting and tracking contract progress
  • Develop standardized documentation and reporting templates for use across all projects/major contracts within the Business Unit
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3+ years' experience in a relevant Project Management role within a technical sector
  • Project Management qualification, e.g., Prince 2, APM
  • Experience within the Defence industry delivering technical engineering solutions
  • Full project lifecycle experience
  • Lean Six Sigma yellow or green belt is highly desirable
  • Engineering experience within the civil or military aviation industry would be desirable

Hybrid working arrangement (2-3 days on site) and a competitive daily rate of circa £450 (inside IR35).
