As a key member of our advanced rotating equipment service centre in Ellon, Aberdeen, you will be responsible for assisting with failure analysis, repair method selection, and technical queries. You will also review and approve workshop inspection reports and work instructions, conduct Root Cause Analysis to identify failure modes and technical improvements, and develop quality plans for repair projects and track activities through production. Additionally, you will perform Quality Control checks and compile documentation packs for client release.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

* A recognised qualification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
* Proven experience with the failure analysis, repair method selection, and overhaul of rotating equipment such as pumps, motors, and compressors.
* Strong ability to conduct Root Cause Analysis and identify failure modes to drive technical improvements.
* Experience in reviewing and approving workshop inspection reports and work instructions, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 procedures and IEC requirements.
* Ability to develop job-specific quality plans and manage the full repair cycle, from initial inspections to final testing and despatch.
* Excellent communication when liaising with sub-contractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure technical and quality requirements are met.
