We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Duty Manager to join our team at Places Leisure. As a Duty Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our leisure centre, ensuring that our customers receive an exceptional experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and motivate a large team of staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive membership sales and retention, working closely with our sales team to achieve targets.
  • Ensure the centre is running efficiently, managing budgets and resources to maintain high standards of customer service and facilities.
  • Represent Places Leisure at external events and meetings, promoting our brand and services.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within a leisure facility, with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent customer service and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • NPLQ qualification and first aid experience.
  • Flexible approach to work, with the ability to work shifts including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
