About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and flexible Healthcare Assistant to join our clinical team at the Heart of Lincoln Medical Group (HLMG). This role will be based at the Lincoln Clinical Diagnostic Centre (CDC) and will involve supporting the nursing and administrative teams in the delivery of clinical and administrative services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver and assist in Clinical Diagnostic tests, including Phlebotomy, Blood pressure Monitoring, ECG taking, and spirometry investigations.
  • Work collaboratively with the Heart of Lincoln Medical Group Primary care multi-disciplinary team to deliver care within their scope of practice.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and carers, recognising the need for alternative methods of communication.
  • Anticipate barriers to communication and take action to improve communication.
  • Ensure awareness of sources of support and guidance, and provide information in an acceptable format to all patients.
Requirements
  • Clean Full Driving Licence.
  • Phlebotomy qualification.
  • BP Reading qualification.
  • Experience of working in a Nursing Team.
  • Basic IT Skills.
