About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and flexible Healthcare Assistant to join our clinical team at the Heart of Lincoln Medical Group (HLMG). This role will be based at the Lincoln Clinical Diagnostic Centre (CDC) and will involve supporting the nursing and administrative teams in the delivery of clinical and administrative services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver and assist in Clinical Diagnostic tests, including Phlebotomy, Blood pressure Monitoring, ECG taking, and spirometry investigations.
  • Work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of patients, supporting the delivery of policy and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and carers, recognising the need for alternative methods of communication to overcome different levels of understanding, cultural background, and preferred ways of communicating.
  • Anticipate barriers to communication and take action to improve communication.
  • Maintain effective communication within the practice environment and with external stakeholders.
  • Act as an advocate for patients and colleagues.
Requirements
  • Clean Full Driving Licence.
  • Phlebotomy qualification.
  • BP Reading qualification.
  • Experience of working in a Nursing Team.
  • Basic IT Skills.
