About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Healthcare Support Specialist to join our team at DMC Healthcare. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our ENT clinics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with our Referral Management Centre to ensure accurate appointment scheduling for clinics.
  • Ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are set up and ready for use prior to each clinic.
  • Manage stock control and inventory at each site, ensuring that all necessary items are available and in good working order.
  • Assist the consultant during clinics, providing high-level customer service and support to patients and clinicians.
  • Ensure all DMC equipment is properly stored and maintained, and that the clinic environment is clean and tidy at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with other departments, including Estates and Supplies, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Act as a chaperone in supporting patients and clinicians during clinical procedures.
  • Contribute to the implementation of services, identifying areas for improvement and innovation.
Person Specification
  • Minimum GCSE or equivalent qualifications.
  • Band 2, preferably Band 3 HCA experience.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent time management and planning skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and problem-solve.
  • Excellent patient engagement, customer service, and communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with staff at all levels.
  • Empathetic approach to patients.
Requirements
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Hands-on interaction with patients in a healthcare setting.
  • Experience working in an outpatient setting or hospital setting.
