NHS Fife Older Adult Community Mental Health Team

As a Senior Community Mental Health Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to older adults with mental illness in East Fife. You must be a nurse registered with the UK Nursing and Midwifery Council and have knowledge of dealing with issues relating to health and wellbeing of older adults.

The estimated salary for this role is £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. As a confident individual, you will engage with patients to help work on their recovery and personal outcomes, managing a caseload and completing mental health assessments.

You will also assist with supervision and development of junior staff members within the team and support the Nurse Team Leader with delegated managerial tasks. Excellent communication skills and adaptability to change are essential for this role, as well as evidence of continual personal development.

The service operates within office hours Monday to Friday 0900-1700, although there may be the addition of weekend working in the future. A full induction and clinical and nurse line management supervision will be provided to successful applicants.
