**Job Overview**

NHS Scotland is seeking a highly skilled Child and Adolescent Forensic Mental Health Specialist to join our Forensic Mental Health Inpatient service. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of mental health services in Fife, working closely with a multidisciplinary team.

The post will sit within a supportive and creative environment, with opportunities for professional growth and development. As a key member of the medical workforce, you will be involved in redesign and developments across our mental health services, including forensic psychiatry.

**Salary:** £110,000 - £155,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

**Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide high-quality care to patients requiring inpatient treatment for their mental health issues
  • To work collaboratively with colleagues from various disciplines to achieve patient-centered outcomes
  • To contribute to the development of evidence-based practices and policies

**Requirements:

Eligibility for GMC registration and licensure to practice are essential requirements for this role. Candidates must also possess higher specialist training leading to CCT or demonstrate equivalent training and experience.
