Job Overview:Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned Social Worker with experience working with children and families in a social care setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking timely assessments and analysis of need and risk, working with families and networks of professionals to create and deliver outcome-focused plans.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of child development and welfare, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be able to work effectively with families, networks of professionals, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality services.

Responsibilities:
  • To undertake timely assessments and analysis of need and risk, working with families and networks of professionals to create and deliver outcome-focused plans.
  • To ensure that children and young people and carers are aware of their rights and are enabled to participate meaningfully in planning, and in decision-making, including through the use of independent advocates if required.
  • To provide support and intervention based on best evidence to meet individual child and family needs.
Qualifications and Experience:

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A degree in Social Work or a related field.
  • Experience working with children and families in a social care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
