Job Title: Claims and Compliance Lawyer

Law Staff Legal Recruitment is seeking an experienced Claims and Compliance Lawyer to join our client's Litigation Team.

About the Role:

We are looking for a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with a minimum of 3 years PQE to handle a variety of legal tasks, including analysing loan agreements, mortgages, personal guarantees, debentures, and other security forms.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in Commercial Law, Property, or Banking & Finance dispute resolution and be able to adapt to changing legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Analyse and advise on matters of dispute, including financial services regulation, risk, and legal opinions.
  2. Stay updated with legal changes and independently research relevant law as required.
  3. Draft settlement agreements, consent orders, and other legal documents.
  4. Oversee contested possession claims and brief counsel when necessary.
Requirements:
  1. Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with a minimum of 3 years PQE.
  2. Significant experience in Commercial Law, Property, or Banking & Finance dispute resolution.
  3. Adaptability and agility in handling a variety of legal tasks.
