Director of Development and Strategic Partnerships

The Director of Development and Strategic Partnerships will be a key member of the Art Center's leadership team, responsible for securing funding and building strategic partnerships to support the organization's mission.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to meet the Art Center's funding goals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with major donors, foundations, and corporate partners to secure funding and support for the organization's programs and initiatives.
  • Research and identify new funding opportunities, including grants, sponsorships, and individual giving.
  • Collaborate with the Board and staff to develop and implement a strategic plan for the Art Center's development and partnerships efforts.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of donor interactions, gifts, and correspondence.
  • Develop and implement a plan to increase the Art Center's visibility and reputation in the community, including media relations and public outreach.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of success in fundraising and development, including grant writing and major gift solicitation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with donors, stakeholders, and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
  • Proficiency in donor management software and other technology tools.
