Director of Development and Strategic Partnerships

The Director of Development and Strategic Partnerships will be a key member of the Art Center's leadership team, responsible for securing funding and building strategic partnerships to support the organization's mission.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to meet the Art Center's funding goals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with major donors, foundations, and corporate partners to secure funding and support for the organization's programs and initiatives.
  • Research and identify new funding opportunities, including grants, sponsorships, and individual giving.
  • Collaborate with the Board and staff to develop and implement a strategic plan for the Art Center's development and partnerships efforts.
  • Manage the Art Center's donor database and ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Represent the Art Center at events and networking opportunities to build relationships and secure funding.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of securing funding and building strategic partnerships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of the arts and culture sector and familiarity with fundraising and development best practices.
