Job Overview

Select Appointments is hiring a Senior Accountant - Financial Reporting to lead our financial reporting function. As a senior accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial data, preparing management accounts, and providing insights to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead the preparation of management accounts.
  2. Manage financial data and provide insights.
  3. Reconcile and value stock.
  4. Prepare product costings.
  5. Manage month-end journals.
  6. Accrue and prepaid expenses.
  7. Update fixed asset register and depreciate assets.
  8. Generate weekly KPI reports.
  9. Submit VAT returns.
  10. Forecast cashflows.

Requirements

  • AAT qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent Excel skills.
  • Leadership skills.
