We are seeking a skilled Compliance Associate to join our team at Gresham Hunt, a leading Commodities Broker. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing surveillance on the firm's trading activity, flagging suspicious trades, and supporting investigations into potential market abuse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough surveillance of trading activity to identify potential compliance issues
  • Collaborate with the surveillance team to investigate and resolve suspicious trades
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory developments and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Support the production of MI reports for the surveillance team

Requirements:

  • 2-3+ years' experience in conducting trade surveillance, with expertise in Nasdaq SMARTS system
  • Strong knowledge of Commodities products and derivatives (Futures and Options)
  • Excellent computer literacy and analytical skills
  • A good academic record in a relevant subject (Finance, Economics, STEM, etc.)
