About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our team at Debbie Burbage Recruitment. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for accurately processing purchase invoices and reconciling supplier statements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process purchase invoices and reconcile supplier statements in a timely and accurate manner
  • Manage the purchase ledger inbox, responding to queries and resolving any discrepancies
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to resolve any queries or issues
  • Assist with month-end tasks and reporting as required
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies
Requirements
  • Previous experience working in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Proactive and able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills and a problem-solving mindset
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary of £24,000 - £27,000 per annum depending on experience
  • Standard working hours of 8.30 am – 5.30 pm (Monday to Thursday), 8.30 am – 12.30 pm (Friday)
  • 25 days holiday + statutory bank holidays
  • Pension, PHI, On-site parking
