Accounts Apprentice

Our client tailor’s logistics solutions precisely to their clients needs. With over 20 years of experience in the foods ingredients sector, their aim is to add value to their customers by managing their warehousing and distribution needs. They provide dedicated fleet distribution throughout Mainland UK and deliver to over 1,000 food manufacturing industry doors each week.

**Job Duties**:

- Dealing with purchase ledger coding and posting purchase invoices once agreed to purchase orders.
- Reconciling supplier statements.
- Raising and resolving supplier queries in a timely manner.
- Raising payments to suppliers.
- Chasing subcontractors for paperwork.
- Ad Hoc analysis as required.
- Filing.
- Answering the telephone.

**Invoicing in the absence of invoicing clerk**:

- Sales Invoicing - holiday/sickness cover.
- Scanning POD's.
- Any other reasonable duties as and when required.

This role will be supported by Starting Offs Level 3 Accounts qualification.

**Salary**: £15,000.00 per year

- Monday to Friday

- Accounting: 1 year (preferred)
- bookkeeping: 1 year (preferred)
